Erdoğan, Biden Discuss Extradition Of Gülen In New York

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden on Wednesday during his visit to New York to attend the 71st session of the UN General Assembly.

According to the presidential sources, the two leaders discussed the extradition process of Fetullah Gülen, the leader of the Gülenist terror group (FETÖ), operation Euphrates Shield as well as fight against terror.

The meeting, which lasted for one and a half hours, was also attended by Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekçi, Energy Minister Berat Albayrak, National Intelligence Agency chief Hakan Fidan, Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın and Turkey’s envoy to Washington Serdar Kılıç.
